Wisconsin: Safe Communities and Safe Schools Mercury Reduction Act

Abstract:
Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin introduced H.R. 4260 into the House of Representatives on May 04, 2004. This legislation will provide $75 million in grants to support comprehensive mercury reduction efforts, while restricting the sale of mercury containing fever thermometers and requiring amalgam separation by dentists.
