Climate Adaptation Plan Development ProgramAvailable to communities nationwideType: Event Description: The Model Forest Policy Program provides training, mentoring, access to new tools and resources, and support to each community in the program to develop a comprehensive climate adaptation plan for their community, region, or geographic territory.
The CSU team and guest presenters break the planning process into step-by-step components providing eight learning module presentations, monthly conference calls, and individual coaching. Over ten months, each community develops a Forest and Water Climate Adaptation Plan. Need-based scholarships are available for communities wishing to participate.
