You will learn:

How to package, mark, and label hazardous materials
How to choose the correct DOT shipping name
How to complete shipping papers
How to load, unload, and placard properly
Your responsibilities to ensure hazardous material security
Recent changes in the regulations

Who must attend? Personnel responsible for the safe shipment of hazardous materials, including anyone who fills packages, marks or labels containers, completes or signs shipping papers, loads or uloads vehicles, or operates vehicles used to transport hazardous materials.

This course meets DOT requirements for initial and recurrent training.
